With a stage 2 you can usually just swap the cams and not get into springs & retainers. Gears and higher stall converters are generally needed for stage III and higher.
I dont know where you would of heard that. 4;10's is the only way to go with an auto. I would suggest doing gears first it the best mod you will actually feel when driving the car. 1st gear slower thats funny! :headscratch:Sounds good!! ...I thought 4.10's would suck for an auto? I heard 1st gear would be slower??? Idk 4 sure tho..
I thought 4.10's in an auto suck cus it makes first gear slow at low RPMs? I could be completely wrong thats just what i heardlike stlwagon said...new springs and retainers are not nessecary...those depend on how aggresive the cam is....with a stage 2...you will not....but if i were you..i would go with gears anyways...lol....i have an automatic too....and i am puttin 4:10 gears in next month..
Hey how much PSI you running? I'm getting a procharger in about 3 months should I run 8 or 10 psi?4;10's give an auto completely new meaning trust me.
