Hey guys, so I looking to start a engine re build project this winter and I want to drop it in my mustang when all is said and done I'm just curious what some are good engines to consider to for this I want to get some more power from the new motor and something that won't be super hard to get it to work with the car any ideas will help thanks

Everything depends on how much money you are willing to put into your car and what type of car you have... $1500 and lower usually settles for 99-04 gt motor... $2000-4000 99-01, 03-04 mach 1 engine... $5000 on up settles for 03-04 cobra motor. Prices will vary along with the type of engine kits you buy. Some will include everything for a bolt on process or your going to have to look and spend a little more money and time.

maybe on ebay. search the forums. i see used 98-01 cobra motors dumping in the 1500 range. gt motors are going for dirt cheap, like $800 and below. cobra motor have come down in price but they are still about $5k.
