I'm looking to replace my back tires soon and I was wondering if you guys had any suggestions of good and affordable tires for a 2003 Mustang GT? I'm willing to sacrifice speed for traction if that helps any. Also, I'm in southern CA, so something that does well in the West Coast heat would also be a huge help.

good or affordable...pick one
Most guys go with Nittos these days, I run the Potenza RE760s...great tires for speed and traction...not so cheap however.

Nittos do have extremely good traction,cheap but short lived..Personally I like Michelin Pilot Sports to be the best all around tires.It is a Optimum combination of style, comfort and durability..I guess you have to decide your driving style and select accordingly without thinking of cost if you want quality...
