So I have been looking into getting a procharger for mach 1. I plan on getting it for this upcoming spring and don't know how much boost I should push to be safe (its a stock block). I plan on going with all forged in the future for now I want it fast but safe. Im new to super charging im only 19 I have all bolt ons already and worked for everyone of them (no mommy or daddy help) now its time to take it to the next level without blowing my project to pieces. Tell me what you guys know, thanks

you worked for all the bolt ons and the car? or did mommy and daddy give you the car.

If it were me i would forge the motor first, because once you put the procharger on you are going to want more. Also, im pretty sure you looked into the procharger kit correct? i think they are around 5k right? Now most 19 year old i know dont have great paying job to where they could afford to pump out this kind of cash, and still pay your car not, insurance etc etc. Also remeber that the supercharger will need supporting mods which will add up quickly. SO when all said and done you will be looking at closer to 10k with supercharger and labor and much much more with a forged bottom end
Yea I paid for the car my insurance and all bolt ons and now I save up enough for supercharger .im not like other 19 yr olds I work 40 hour weeks and go to college and im an assistant manager where I work that's y...?
yea ok.............just forge what you have, unless you are trying to push the block over 800hp. a forged rotating assembly is about 2-3.5k for a nice one. then 5k for the procharger, then probably 1.5k to 2.5k for supporting mods and what not. then tuning and labor. to do this right would probably take most of what you make in a year. just saying.
