Twin Screws spool up right from the get go and produce Boost numbers your not gonna achieve with an Eaton, although a number of guys have hit 550RW with ported versions.
Mods needed are bigger MAF with Mafia depending on your choice, bigger injectors, upgraded fuel pumps, Custom Tune, and DONE!:bigthumbsup

Ok then what's better a kb or a whipple? And what's this fpdm and bap stuff I see in other threads and what's a triple hat? I'm reading a lot of stuff but it dosent go into detail... :?:

If you run the triple Fore hat with 3 pumps, you'll definitely need an upgraded zone 5 FPDM. The pumps run more amps that the stock FPDM can handle and the upgraded one can. also you'll still need this if you just run dual GT pumps with the stock hat.

BAP, like the Kenne Bell Boost A Pump (bap) will help from pegging your stock fuel pumps. I have a BAP on my car to support the current mods i have now.

I'm going with a whipple down the road but they both will give you tons of power.:bigthumbsup

OK what is an fpdm though, everyone uses that acronym, tried typing in google and got nothing... and why cant i use BAP instead of changing the pump setup?
never mind, fuel pump driver module...
You can probably use a bap on your stock pumps but depending on your power level goal, you could still max it and i wouldn't take that kind of risk. Fuel is the last thing you want to skimp on with these cars.
glad you found out what FPDM is, i meant to put that on my last post and forgot.
ok so i need the following:

upgraded FPDM
2 Ford GT pumps
bigger injectors (what size, 60's?)
a whipple
and a bigger maf?

Is that all to get 550-575 whp?
You'll need all that hardware and someone to tune the crap out of it...personally if I had mine to do over I'd go turbo, you could get 650+ rwhp quite easily and for less money. Sell the intake, intercooler, heat exchanger and go with an inline intercooler for the turbo, get another mod intake and hold on!

That will support those #'s just fine but if your only looking for 550RW just port your Eaton and save about $3K!! The guys that run Twin Screws in Terminators are looking for at least 650 with Boost levels over 25lbs!

All that and 60lbs injectors will work. probably around 17lbs of boost and you're there.
Turbo would be an awesome way to go but more expensive. Also i've seen guys make around 600rwhp at 13psi on a turbo.
I've shared this Vid of RET tuning a Whippled Terminator, have a look OP, and NOTE those numbers are with a small 2.3 Blower, like it says their "MAXING" it out, haha! The New Generation Mammoth and Crushers are making over 700:bigthumbsup

hey thanks everyone for the replies, just been busy with finals for physics and calculus and whatnot, plus some IRS parts crapped out after a night at the track

but the replies were greatly appreciated. thanks! :bigthumbsup
yeah, I'd get a 90mm SCT mass air, 60# injectors, the fuel pump and a real cold air intake like JLT...then get someone to tune it.

yeah i was thinking about a SCT BA 2400 or 3000, but all three of the tuners here in my area suggested the MAFia... something about being able to see more accurate MAF counts... and also said no BAP just twin GT pumps and dual upgraded FPDM's.. also i want to go with the JLT carbon fiber CAI... just looks badass lol
I hear the whipple is more dependable than kenne bell as well. . .

That certainly is a topic of debate here and on many forums... I had to go KB as they were the ony one who made a twin screw for my car, so kudos to them for realizing there are many 96 owners who want forced induction but not a centri....I'll also tell you it's the most fun you can have with your clothes on...12psi and screaming performance !

I'm sure it is man! Want to make sure you know I wasn't doggin ya, puttin a twin screw on a 96 = awesome. It is a big debate for me and other 03-04 owners. Personally I would go with the Whipple, but everyone is entitled to an opinion!

Edit: I'm sure this applies to the GT500 owners too, I'm just not familiar with them. . . Although I did watch a dyno vid of a TT GT500 hitting 1064rwhp. . . Mind=Blown
IDK, my Kenne Bell has been very dependable.:bigthumbsup
My 2.2 kenne bell spit reservoir oil into the engine. My 2.3 whipple has been happy to just run & run.

My early Apten ported eaton was a waste of money compared to the power a twinscrew makes although once you go twin screw lots of supporting mods start adding up. Injectors, return fuel (or every mod available to the returnless), MAF, clutch, diff, trans...
