Hello all - newbie here

There is an outlet labeled 12-volt on the interior console. I plug in GPS, recharger - nothing works. (The outlet is below the stereo and not the same one located in the center console). Is there something disconnected?
If so, how can I fix it? I think it is disconnected but want to make sure I do the proper thing to fix it. Hopefully, i'll get that information here.

Thanks in advance

first thing to check is the fuse... unless you were messing around with the wires there shouldn't be anything lose or cut.

I will check the fuse. I may have to look at some diagrams or you can save me some time and give me an idea where the fuses are?

Thanks again.

fuse box is on drivers side under to the left of the steering (underside) you'll have to pull the black cover off the fuse box to see them. you can get a cheap fuse tester at auto zone or pep boys so you dont have to pull them all in search of the bad one
