2004 mustang 3.8l manual, soft clutch pedal

Hey all, I just got my clutch replaced on my 2004 stang, and a month later my pedal is soft, I only get resistance in the last bit of the pedal's travel. I'm being told that i need hydraulic clutch parts, and i'm very aware that there is not a hydraulic clutch in my car. (its asthough they didnt even bother to put it on a hoist)
i've noticed the pedal has been getting weaker over the month's time. I'm wondering if there is a cable adjustment that needs to be done? any ideas?

what kind of cluth was installed?

if its an aftermarket clutch, more than likely it has to be adjusted.
you'd need an adjustable clutch cable.

try this:

its a centerforce dual friction. the silly thing though is the clutch pedal was nice and firm for a month and then it just went down hill fast. Ford says there is an adjustment for the clutch, you just push up on it and then down to the floor.. but i find it didnt do anything.
The self adjuster might be shot, or they messed something up on the install. You could also try another cable, but I don't recommend it until you find the problem.
Thank you for your help! I'll have them look into it again

i tried that... it didnt work for me either. :headscratch:

that stock plastic spring-loaded quadrant is a piece of junk imho.
the aluminum 1-piece ones are so much simpler.
