If you buy from Bama you have free tunes for life, ask for a tune for 91 octane
and one for the most common fuel in town.

So I recently bought a 2004 mustang gt, id like to purchased a bama tuner for it, but i live in a small town of 2500 people and the highest octane i can get around here within an hours drive is 91. all the tunes ask for 93 octane. my buddy who is all about the rice life said he ran a 93 tune on 91 in his srt4 and he said he was fine. just asking what yall think, and if i shouldnt what are my build options being limited to 91 octane? thanks for your time.

Well bama, as far as I know, allows three preloaded tunes 87 89 93 octane. The 93 octane is the race tune which I wouldnt recommend unless you are going to race it professionally. The most you will need, atleast for me, is the performance tune. But if you need/want 91 octane I would ask bama for one like GTRaptor said.
You'll be fine on the "race" tune, it's the only one I use on my car and the only one I plunked down the $400 for. In their questionairre sheet it asks you what the highest octane fuel available to you is, as it can vary from state to state.
