Anybody have a part number?

I went to the track yesterday and after my 2nd run I picked up a very pronounced vibration ... Once I got parked, the vibration was still there at idle so I figured something went wrong with my clutch.

I pulled the tranny and found 55-ft-lbs of torque apparently ain't enough to keep the pressure plate from moving and in the process, shearing the alignment dowels.

I've looked at the online S197 manuals and am not seeing a part number for those dowels. I found a number D1FZ-6397-B but that one doesn't look like the S197 dowels ...

Thanks for your time and support ...

Thanks for the reply,,

For future reference,, the dowel pins in that FRPP pack are the same size as the D1FZ pins,, and they wont work on the S197 flywheel and no surprise, Ford doesn't sell the dowels seperate form the S197 flywheel, and the guy that runs the machine shop at NAPA didn't have a dowel that would fit either,, So I picked up a FW for 30-bucks (plus 10 fer' em' to pull it) off a 2009 GT that was wrecked at 15,000miles.

I just finished torquing the PP down to 75-lbs so if the thing slips again .. I dunno' what'll keep it from moving ...

Ford does sell the S197 GT flywheel dowels seperately, the part number that you need is F6TZ-6397-AA, $8.24 each.

Thanks for the ##,, I've got the tranny back in (Ahhhhh, not that kinda' back-end) and am glad I swapped the flywheel now, I knew I my car had had a vibration since I bought new it and it appears my OEM flywheel was out of balance ... I though it was the driveshaft ... No more annoying vibration against my hip from the parking brake lever ... It's smooth as butter now .. :bounce2: !!

I'll get those dowels and have that flywheel balanced so it'll be ready to go for my next clutch install ...
