Just bought a 2005 Mustang GT. Friend of mine has a set of rims I'm wondering if they'll fit and what size tires would be the best to put on. They are 18 x9 +30 70.6 center cap. Wondering if they will hit anything. And what would be the best size tires for front and back? Thanks in advance for anybody that can help

First, find out the brand of the rims and find the brand-specific website to see fitment information. If the rims are available, try fitting one on your vehicle. If the rim fit, visit your local tire shop and ask them to help you with the proper tire fitment. That's what they do. Good Luck.

if your friend has the wheels/tires available, best way to find out if they fit, is probably to try them on

otherwise you need the rest of the specs, as LadyGT posted above

Depending on goals for car will depend on tire size. Biggest tire you will want on a 18x9 is about 275. Though that big might not be needed and 245 will suffice. Would need more details on your planned direction and goals. As far as fitment LadyGT provided great info to start with on that.
