2005 Mustang Convertible 6 gauge setup

Hi

I'm trying to replace my 4 gauge cluster with a 6 gauge cluster. I found one on ebay for a reasonable price out of a 2006 mustang v6. Would this be compatible with mine I have a 2005 v6? There is no difference and its for a v6. Also does anyone know what the 3 button setup for the computer is called and also a part number for it? Where would I be able to find one of these? I'm pretty sure my car is compatible with the 6 gauge setup since mine has the ABS and TC. Is there anyone who would install the gauges if I purchase them myself? Please help

They are compatible. Its a fairly complicated install, I remember reading an old thread showing how to do it. I don't know what the buttons would be called, but I'm sure your Ford dealership would know. I would just have the dealership install anyways, your going to have to take it to them to have the milage transfered over. I love mine, so I'm sure you'll love yours too.:bigthumbsup
Update on 6 gauge cluster

I just contacted the ford dealer today and they said that the 6 gauge cluster would not be compatible with any 4 gauge cluster. They also said they have never heard of anyone doing this. Mine is an 05/05 build date and has both, abs and tc. I read in another thread that if it has tc you should have the wiring for the 6 gauge setup and 3 computer buttons. Anybody have any ideas? Should I call another ford dealer? I really want this mod
