So I get home today to find fluid in the driveway where I park my car. Get out and smell it and its def. rear end fluid. I jacked up the car and its leaking out of the front of the pumpkin where the driveshaft connects. So I'm assuming its the Differential Pinion Seal (sound right?). Anybody have a how to on fixing it. Broke as can be right now and can't afford to take it to the shop. Thanks alot for any help.:bigthumbsup

Yea remove the drive shaft, pinion nut, pinion and then the seal. Next install a new one and then reassenbly as you took it apart. I'll see if I can find the repair manual for it.

Thanks alot man. Is this something I can tackle with a little backyard mechanic experience. It doesn't look overly hard but I don't want to get myself in a mess. Would I be better off taking it to the mechanic?
