For $23,000 US dollars you can get a whole lot of improvements including putting that money together with your 2005 model & get a newer GT. More smiles to the gallon. Just a suggestion.fox.gif

1) trade car in for a 2011+ GT with the new Coyote engine (personally, I like the 2012 model)

2) see how much money you have left over ; then prioritize even more HP (supercharger) or handling (suspension and tires)

With $23,000k...I would take $10k out to put a supercharger on your car (Roush TVS, procharger, whatever floats your boat) and some suspension (LCAs, springs, struts, shocks...). Take the other $13k and invest/save it (sounds boring but you never know when you will need it). Good luck!

Yeah, where the OP is located (I don't really know where that is) it might be a lot harder to trade in the car than it is here in the states, so a supercharger might be the next best option. With a $23K budget he could build the engine and go for big boost.

I'd get the 2013 model. The rear end looks nicer and you get 420hp.
LOL, each to is own -- I'd get the '12 because I like the front end better, and the 420HP is mostly just a rating change

A Brenspeed 326 cubic inch stroker with forged internals, cams, long tube headers, a TVS, Kenne Bell, or E-Force supercharger, clutches, and suspension upgrades to handle it would max out your $23,000 budget, but you'd be putting down 600-700rwhp reliably (or more with the change of a pulley). Just give Brenspeed a call.
