Another approach would be to replace the '05-'07 inner door weatherstrip with the '08-'09. The '05-'07 version is plain rubber without any felt. Starting in '08 Ford resumed adding the felt. I don't have a Ford part number but the price per pair is about $55.

Yep, the felt kit works just fine. They have a special price for allfordmustangs.com. For $25 you can't go wrong.

I got it done on my bday and got my tint fixed all is well now plus a little darker! :bigthumbsup
