My rear tail light bulb went out yesterday. In looking in the trunk I can't figure out how to remove the trim behind the bulbs.I'm not sure how to go about removing the screw looking thinngs that attach it without breaking them.I know this is a dumb question but any info greatly appreciated.:headscratch:

They're not really screws. You can pry out the screw-looking piece part way and then pull them out.
There are 2 thumb screws and 4 push pins to remove. The push pins are easy, just remove the pin itself from the sleeve. Good Luck :D
I know it was a lame question,I have installed exhaust suspension, and I needed help removing a trim panel, lol. It was easy once I got in there, thanks!
the biggest problem is if you have a shakker 1,000 like gary paul :so

How many tail lights are in a 2005 v6 ford mustang... 4 or 6?

You got that right. What a big P.I.T.A$$ I just did the removal recently. The browseable service manual was needed.

But he'll never burn out the bulbs because he never drives the cars....:shigrin

There are 4 per side. 3 for the tail light and one for the reverse light.
The 3 nuts that have to be removed have a chalking or weather sealing putty. It doesn't go back on very well:headscratch:
Oh yeah, this was the first work I did on my '08 GT. I had seen another 'stang with the sequencing taillights and had to have them. Just unhook the stock harness, insert the new one and switch out the light bulbs, right? Umm, yeah. And yes, I have the Shaker 1000. I actually got the last nut off without removing the shaker, only to drop it into the fender well. It is a little sad that you should need a manual to change the tail lights, but a little help in knowing where all the bolts for the shaker are goes a long way. My dad always said when one bulb goes out, change 'em all. In this case he is really right.
I need to know where I can find some replacement bulbs! Anyone know of a place I can get them online or any national stores?

Im having problems with my lighting. the middle light bulb on My left blinker doesn't work when I turn on left signal or the hazard lights. When I have the headlights on, all three light bulbs work, when I turn off the headlights, only the middle light bulb works. Any suggestions?

Swap the middle bulb with the bulb closest to the license plate, and you'll be back in business.
I recently replaced one in my 2008. Like the other guys said, it was a bit more involved than I thought it would be.

Says to use 4057, but I got away with using 3157LL.
