2005 Mustang V6-better stopping power?

I've been looking for better stopping power. I've searched around and have seen people saying to upgrade to the GT take off rotors and stuff but I've also been hearing that the drilled rotors or the slotted rotors give a lot better breaking. Is this true? I also don't want to ruin the break pads fast. Would the Drilled or slotted rotors do that?

I reccomend Baer Decela rotor, crossed drilled and slotted rotors. The advantage is the slots and holes help to dissipate the heat better not only increasing your braking power, but also increasing the longevity of your pads. To improve more you can get Hawk Performance brake pads
