ive searched already did the checks

( plugs , plug connections, coil connections, line connections, fireing order )

so as you guys know i blew off part of my top end.


got her back together no leaks finally ( after 6 gallons of coolant )


now she wont idle right.

i checked all above, re flashed and everything but shes still sounding like shes missing then give it any amount of gas and its a bang as loud as my .357


out of drivers side ( independent duals )


what to do what to do?

AHHHHHHH!!!! Seriously I have no clue man. Only thing I can think of is maybe she's not firing right?

Uh oh. Just drop her off at Ford with a note that says return when fixed. Did you see the pic of what my clutch looked like?!?! What is goin on with Ford parts??

i dont know lol.... thats racing. it was running fine ( minus the leak ) when i put it on and off the trailer. somethings not hooked up right.

heres a few clues:
1) EGR system not functioning properly
2) vacuum leak
3) damaged valve springs or sticking valves
4) vacuum leak at the intake manifold or vacuum hoses

with my luck all of the above.

ima go out tomarow and take her whole top end off AGAIN and work on it.


least im mostly fixed.

I have an idea -

Take apart the whole car piece by piece! Then put it all back together. :bigthumbsup

I have an idea -

Take apart the whole car piece by piece! Then put it all back together. :bigthumbsup

belive it or not, i started that this morning. i know its on drivers side, i swapped old coil back on. im takeing it all back apart. im going to replace, injectors, while im in there, and pull the heads off and check all the arms springs adn rods.


anyone know of anything i should do while in there? ( other than upgrade )

like things to look for/replace/clean/tighten

anyway, my thought was a sticky valve too, other than that, i have no clue :headscratch:

yea later tonight ima pull the heads.


it was fine loading it and unloading it.

who knows.


if the theres a problem ima buy a set of pistons, rods, springs and arms.


get the set up for my charger or bottle.

if you pull the heads, i`m thinking de-bur,port and polish. maybe get the valves re-done, maybe different guides, tricked out rocker arms, slight mill to clean them up. then ya, bore it out, pistons, cam, better oil pump, deep pan, the works. :D

if at anytime coolant hits the o2 it will kill it on contact. just a thought.

course you might need to use that.357 to like...rob a bank :shiny: its probably something little anyway. i`m thinking vacuum leak. did you tear it down?

no i went on a stress reliveing bike ride and got injured... SOB...

They suspect a broken valve/rod/spring ?
What does Obama have to do with your warranty?
And last but not least, why won't you return to Michigan?
