If you haven't done heated throttle body bypass, consider doing it!
It's free mod and can be done under an hour.

I just did mine and I am getting quicker response and better MPG, about +1 or 2.

I was getting around 15.5mpg city/ freeway combined ( I know it's low ) and now I am getting around 16.5mpg just on the city with A/C on!!!
I wonder what would I get on freeway!

I am happy about this mod.

I am not responsible for any damage, just a recommendation!

Is '07 the same and if so, how do you do it?
@ponycardue

From my knowledge, I think this only applies to 2005 mustang v6.

OK, thanks.
How is it done?
Basically it involves pulling off 2 black hoses that carry coolant through them and plugging the throttle body off, while rerouting one of the hoses, takes around 10 minutes. http://mustangforums.com/forum/4-0l...ow-to-05-v6-throttle-body-coolant-bypass.html

Yes Yes, it's pretty simple mod.

I drove about 50 miles on freeway going around 70mph, I was getting 19mpg.
that's more than 3+mpg... I probably could've gotten more, when I got off the freeway the computer reads at 19mpg.

let me know your improvements after the mod!

*** Careful when you unplug the hose from the throttle body, there will be about 8 ounces of coolant will gush out. ( from my experience )
