2006 Lingenfelter c6 Corvette
Well my neighbors son in law just came to town and brought his 06 Lingenfelter Covette. It has the roots type supercahrger on it, and corsa exhuast, and couple other minor mods. It wasnt the Z06, but it had the Z06 body kit and was lowered, basically sat on the ground. But it wasnt the Ls3 engine either, it was LS2 supercharged. He crunk it up and it wasnt as loud as i expected, the lingenfelters ive seen have a big ol cam. Asks me if i wanna go for a spin, so of course im down, so he takes me round the block, nails it in 2nd(it was automatic too) and thing takes off. Let off bout 70 mph. The thing had some serious power and torque. Honestly i thought it was gonna be just a lil quicker, but i guess it didnt have all the lingenfelter parts on it. But dont get me wrong, this sucker was MOVING! He claims 0-60 mid 3.6 sec, and probably 1/4 miles mid 11's. But i just thought id share my experience with this ride. And he wasnt sure how much hp it makes, does anyone know? (he didnt know too much about engines)

sounds like a nice ride. my only gripe with any of the ls or lt 1 cars is they are a pain in the ass to work on. they make nice power though.
Yeah it just looks complicated. But im used to lookin at my engine which i know where everything is at. Yea it is a really cool ride. Wish it was the twin turbo Z06 though, that would have been somethng else haha.
My sister dated this guy that owned a marine sales shop. He had two new vettes.(Silver one a year old and a new red one.) This was back in 1988. I know it had twin turbos on it I think it was a calaway. (Sound correct?) Well my sister needed milk and let me drive it to the store. hehee. I graduated from high school in 1989 so I was a young guy driving a new vette to the store. lol. That think was probably the fastest car I have driven. I remember a 5.0 Mustang guy was sitting at a light with me and I pulled posi the length of his car (while he was launching too.) then shot past him like he was not moving. Sorry to say guys cause I am a new Mustang owner but that car owned the Stang. Probably cost the amount of 3 Mustangs though so with mods..........
Wow kid whos still in high school driving a twin turbo vette haha. Not a good combination. Yea twin turbo vette agaisnt anything, not just a mustang, it would own.
Yea I didn't get to drive it again though. A 4 mile drive took 45 min.s in a vette??? lol
