Just noticed a HUGE puddle of oil under the front engine area of my car. Looks like it's coming from the front of the engine area, but hard to tell with all that stuff in the way. It's getting on my belt so oil has been slug all over every thing in my engine bay on the front end of the engine.
Has anyone seen this on these cars before? Doesnt look like its the front crak seal since thats at the bottom and the majority of the accumulation is on the water pump/alternator.......:headscratch:

Any Ideas? I cant seem to think of anything else in that area that would leak oil like that.........

I dont have any of the special tools, Ford will do it for $126 plus tax.
With my luck I would probably break something even more expensive in the repair process. :gringreen

Isn't you car still under warranty? I have a warranty on my car. Make the dealership pay for it.
He is 887 miles past the warranty.
3 years or 36 K miles. Whatever comes first. Later 06's off the lot got the 5 year warranty.

Mine only had a 3/36 period.
I could call Ford and ***** and complain but dont want to waste my time with something like that because I know they will see all the **** doen to the car and yada yada yada, I'll just pay the $ and be thankful that I didn't end up with a hole the size of my fist in the block......

I don't think it would have been covered anyway. The powertrain warranty covers engine and transmission 'internals'.
Its annoying how all that fine print comes in and yea the dealer will play hard ball when seeing mods. Hope it gets all sorted out for u and thats the end of it. Wouldnt it be nice if a dealer took responsibility for their **** ups? Theyd probably be out of business then...
