I have owned my 2006 Mustang GT with the 4.6 liter engine since November 2009. It is a stock car and i am told by the dealer that it has never been driven on wet roads. When I bought it the undercarriage was almost as clean as the rest of the body. It was immaculate . I have kept up the "dry road" record myself. I could see the originally owner was quite proud of it and cared for it well. I have done the same although I can't stay out of the accelerator on back roads. This is first muscle car and I don't know how I ever lived without it. I have never been a car enthusiast and even now I know next to nothing about car parts etc. So, maybe I will start learning!
