will the wheels off a 2006 gt fit a 68 mustang? someone is looking to buy my stock wheels and she asked that question and i don't know the answer.

The bolt pattern is the same but the back spacing is way to deep.

Yes, I gave my old wheels to a friend that has a '68 for this very reason.

Looks like a 1.25 inch adapter will make this work. Your speedometer will be off slightly due to the difference in tire diameter.
