I have a 2006 mustang gt automatic with 17,000 miles. Lately just when I stop at a light or park there's a vibration I can feel on the steering wheel and the seat, I cannot hear a rattle but when I put it into d or drive the vibration is there. Could this be the transmission or exahaust. Any help would be appretiated :headscratch:

seems like your engine is not running right,,,,could be bad spark plugs...or fuel filter,,,, a loose connectors for the injectors or the coils?? :scratchchin

Do you feel any loss performance-wise?

It could also be the trans or torque converter.

I don't feel a power loss and the rpm are steady it usually vibrates for about 5 seconds :headscratch: I can now hear I rattle on the floor on the drivers side

Check out TSB 08-3-4. It has to do with removing the tranmission cross-member exhaust mounts. That vibration/rattle problem usually occurs at 1200 RPM, but it's worth a look.
