Did you get the Yukon Dura Grip or the Eaton Truetrac?
I've had no issues with Auburn, everyone to their own I guess.Auburn is junk. I was hoping that he bought one of the others.
Which is why I said everyone to their own.I owned a rear end business for 15 years and I had many issues with the Auburn. No issues with the Eaton or Yukon.
I read about the speedo difference. I know of a tuning shopthat should be able to fix it. If not, I guess I will be buying my own tuner.Important to note if you didn't have 4.10 gears prior:
Those 4.10 gears are going to throw off your speedometer considerably.
Most ford dealerships don't have the settings to sync your speedometer with 4.10 gears.
So make sure you have either a tuner, or know a local shop whom can re-calibrate it for you.
As for advice on additional parts, you may want an upgraded driveshaft at some point.
