2007 GT CS user-selectable dash colors?

I was doing a bit of reading on my new 2007 GT CS and found this in an article:
"The Mustang treats front-seat occupants well, with comfy bucket seats and a cool-looking instrument panel that recalls the original Mustangs of the 60s with modern-day touches like user-selectable dash lighting color (including blue, red, green, purple and white). The driving position is a bit of a throwback, too; the steering wheel sits close to the driver, as was common in cars of the 60s. The view out over the long, bulging hood is magnificent, though limited sightlines make parking difficult."
So, with that being said, how the hell do I change my dash lighting color? I'd love to know!

It may have been an option that was left off of your car? Pretty sure there is an easy to find control on the dash if your car is so equipped.... wish mine was!
its in the menus settings. You will have the choice of colors as well as My Color if you don't like any of the ones there. Look in your manual starting on page 62 but it should be the 2nd option in the setup menu.
If a car is a GT Deluxe, not a Premium GT, and does not have the Interior Upgrade Package, the car will not have the MyColor display. Basically, if you do not have a battery gauge and an oil pressure gauge in the center of the instrument cluster, then you do not have MyColor, and cannot change from the green lighting of the instrument cluster.

:heha:Gosh, I thought the California Special edition would be considered premium! I don't think I have the battery and oil indicators - oh well. I'm still happy because I just found out last night I had heated seats. My wife loves it even more now - but still...I'm in Florida. We've had some pretty cold winters so the heated seats will come in handy!
