I have an opportunity to purchase a 5.4 SVT engine. Other then the obvious electrical, fuel cooling connections is it practical. I know the big blocks are a VERY snug fit, but has anyone tried the 5.4?
You have to cut out the shock towers weld in a mustang 2 kit.Make your own motor mounts maybe cut out the tranny tunnel depending on which tranny you want.I'd never use a mod motor i seen the ugly side to them all the problems and recalls. The 6.4 dohc is taller and wider then any ford big block.
