My low tire pressure light came on today in my 07 mustang gt and i filled the tires up and turned on the car and the light is still on....does it take a while for the sensors to reset and see my tires are inflated fine or do I have to manually reset the sensor some how. Also i plan on getting new rims and tires without the sensors in the future....does the sct x3 tuner allow you to turn off the sensors? I will be getting tuner in about a month so i dont have it now to use on current situation.

It can sometimes take a little bit for the sensor to reset. Not sure why but I have had mine go a mile or so then turnoff after correcting the original issue with the tire pressure.

No the SCT Xcal does not allow you to turn off that function.

You have to drive before they will reset. Check you owner's manual, but I think you have to average 15-20 mph for a few miles before they will reset.

Keep your sensor modules from the stock rims and use them for the new rims. The bands will have to be replaced. You can change your tire size with the SCT.
