I have a 2007 v6 that i need to lower but I am on a strict budget. I have found a local guy selling Dropzone lowering springs for 100.00 but I really cannot find any recent info on these springs. please halp me to decide if I should get them or just hold off for a while. Also they lower 2" all the way around willthat be too much for my car 18" wheels with 255-45-18 tires I really want to lower the voided space. Thank You for any input
A 2" drop is pretty severe. Plus you generally want more drop in the back to even out the rake. I have Steeda Ultralites and they drop 1.25" in back and 1" front. Just enough IMO. Eibach Sportlines are also very popular.
hi! im also using the steeda springs. checkout pics. 'stlwgon' is right 2in. is alot of drop. also i can tell you my ride quality did not change, the steeda springs are designed to push on both ends of the spring, as opposed to just compressing and rebounding. theres a name for the type of compression steeda uses but i forgot, anyway, hope all that helps! goodluck!!
