Yesterday, afternoon after driving earlier in the day. The car would not shift into gear. Its my car and my husband thought I wasn't strong enough. He got it into gear and drove us home. I went to leave this morning and it would not shift into any gear. The clutch seems short. I tried shifting into gears while the car was off and it went it.I have no way to check fluid since its under the car. The tow driver was already on his way. When tow driver came. He got it into gear. Since I was working and He said Ford was backed up. I thought I will take it in later myself. The clutch now goes in way to easy.

I have 58,000 miles on my car. Can someone shed some light on what might be going on and what to do.

Thanks

It's a hydraulic clutch, and self-adjusting. You may have had some air in the system, and they bled it out. Is that what the service receipt says?
