Just this last weekend I installed HID headlights for my car, only to find that when the car is running the low-beams flicker on and off rapidly.
1. When the car is off, they function normally.
2. The fog lights and high-beams both function together or independently if the car is on or off, so power draw shouldn't be an issue.
3. If the low-beam power to the low-beam AC ballasts are plugged into the high-beams, the high-beams flicker.
4. if the high-beam power to the high-beam AC ballasts are plugged into the low-beams, the low-beams do not flicker, but if put the low-beam power through the low-beam AC ballast to the high-beams, the high-beams flicker.

What i'm thinking after all this troubleshooting is that the cars computer or wiring harness isn't properly directing power to the low-beams when the car is running causing them to flicker. If anybody has a clue on how to fix this issue, let me know.
