I've never heard of it. Sounds a little more 'Cadillac' to me.
You were wishing for a voice? :scratchchin To me that's just creepy. :nogrinnerLOL OK guys thanks I suppose I have been had or wishfully thinking.
yes, this is true. i generally keep mine on blue, and when my miles left till empty reaches approx "8 miles till empty" the gauge, and just the gas gauge turns to red, and it "diiiiiiiiings" at me about 15 times before i reach the gauge turning red so needless to say i don't let my car go under 50 miles till empty because the beeping gets to me:soI recall threads saying the color of the gauges change or the like when you run down your gas like this.
Specific gauges change colors when something malfunctions. When my alternator quit, the volt meter glowed red. When my water pump failed, the temp gauge was red.I recall threads saying the color of the gauges change or the like when you run down your gas like this.
I had my temp guage pegged when I forgot to plug in the cooling fan after removing it for the pulley install, temp guage never changed colors. Do the lights have to be on?Specific gauges change colors when something malfunctions. When my alternator quit, the volt meter glowed red. When my water pump failed, the temp gauge was red.
I don't know. Both mine happened at night. Maybe your gauge was pegged but wasn't quite enough to trigger the warning lights. :scratchchinI had my temp guage pegged when I forgot to plug in the cooling fan after removing it for the pulley install, temp guage never changed colors.
