The splitters sure looked good on the Saleen Parnelli Jones edition. But on some color cars (like silver or windveil blue) they just make the headlights look like they are wearing bifocals.

My first post!!

I'm with the other guy, I think they look okay on some colors but I don't think I like them at all for myself. I think it depends on what other body mods you have to go with them.

Not for me. I think they do away with the retro round headlight look of the S197.

How sold on them are you? To me they just make the front end look too angular. The S197's subtly reflect the headlight buckets on the classics and I'm a fan of that. I don't hate the way the splitters look I just think the stock set up looks nice as is.

Nobody can tell you what to do with your car though so do what you want and have fun! If you get them post pics...

I like the old retro "stair steps" in the front head lamps too. That is why I was in limbo. So as for now I do not think I'll be purchasing them. I still have to think on it.

I think they're OK, not my cup of tea. I'd take something like that over Lambo doors.

I don't like the splitters. What I would like to see is someone release a sealed beam headlight and get rid of the stupid plastic lens altogether.

Not crazy about them.

I think they look best when the projector light kits are installed as well......they go together IMO. Considering it myself and yes my color is going to be Vapor Metallic (silverish) but thought about doin the splitters black.....we'll see. Rice or accusations thereof don't bother me none......gotta T-shirt that says White on Rice because of my Yamaha cruiser. :shigrin

Are those splitters just plastic pieces that you stick on the lens with 3M tape?

I'm in the 'count me out' corner for splitters. Too ricey (there, I said it, I know some of ya were thinking it) for me.

But it's your car. I would say that you have a good color for it if you go that way.
