Hi there, I just bought a 2008 mustang and I have a problem with my brake lights. When the car is on Parking the brake lights work perfect but when I move the shift to R, N, or D the tail lights stop working causing a problem when I am driving, nobody notices when I am stopping.

Can someone help me with this issue?
Thanks. JP

Have you checked on the brake pedal there is a box where your wires for ur brakes go in2. Mine melted and stopped working so I had to by-pass it (cut the box out and but connect the wires). The only way I can tell if I had brake lights is to set my cruse control...if i tap my brake..and the cruse does not go off..I no I have on tail lights.

Well whatever you do, don't go messing with the wires unless you know what you're doing and feel comfortable doing so. Just take it to the shop and don't risk it.
