2008 V6 4th Gear Rattle

Whenever I shift into 4th, at around 40-45mph the car shudders under acceleration. If I'm in third the car will not rattle under these speeds; only in 4th. The engine is turning 1200 rpm at these speeds in 4th gear, but at 1200 rpm in any other gear the car does not rattle. once about 47-48 mph is achieved the rattle goes away. Any ideas?

On an unrelated note, when I put in my 8.8 rear end I noticed a "popping" sound coming from the right rear quarter. It mostly makes these popping sounds when the car first gets going, and the sounds typically stop after driving for a while. That or I stop noticing it... could it be that the spring is not seated properly?
