Ive never been someone who works on their car probably because my dad doesn't know too much about fixing cars but my question is i have h.i.d. headlights and a pioneer in dash in my car. about 2 years ago my alternator gave out and i ended up getting a refurbished oem one. today it just so happen to die out again. i noticed little signs in the passed week or so. I'm pretty sure i shouldn't be changing alternators every 2 years should i replace it for a high output alternator? if so any suggestions? oh and would i be able to replace it myself? ( someone with no knowledge of replacing parts)
