good evening, good morning fellow mustang drivers...

my name is karsten i'm from germany
in the usa a couple of months now; so don't mind my english :gringreen

since i was in my teens i dreamed to have my own Mustang, one day...
now just about a decade later i proudly own a 2010 GT
(black, stickshift, 15k miles now)

i love my car , i love the usa, i love the gas prices (no offense but i'm used to much worse)
the only thing i don't like is the speed limit :winks

Welcome to AFM! Where in Germany are you from? We're glad you found us here and we know you'll enjoy your new pony. Any plans for mods or are you keeping her stock?
Enjoy and holler if you need anything...

i am from a world wide know city, by his major part in history but rarely someone knows its name, so i will spare the name :gringreen

i am from the
-home of the great Prussian kings
-city where an Austrian was crowned as the new 'German' Leader
-scene of the 'xyz' Conference held after WWII
-host city for some of the most spectacular spy exchanges in the cold war

back to the important part, cars ...
well i would love to get a bit more out of my V8 BUT

i will be going back to germany one day for sure and i will take the car with me.
It will be a hassle to register the car , even in actual 99% stock 'shape' ...
(the exhaust is to loud, no rear fog light, red and '3x split-moving' turn signal)
i don't wanna risk it to tune up the car so much, it will cost to do it and twice or more to redo it to stock some day...
btw
i'm such a good driver, i don't need more than a stock V8 to rock :worship (just kiddin)

Gotcha. My wife's family is from Neubrunn just up from Wurzburg. Beautiful country there in Bavaria. We had just bought our 06 GT before visiting there and I had to leave it at home here in KS and couldn't drive it there. We hired a VW minivan of some sort as we needed the room for 4 people so I got to drive the autobahn just not in anything fast!

Stick around here at AFM and I know you'll enjoy it.:bigthumbsup
