one question i have after reading this is, if everyone says the compression ratio is too high to use power adde4rs on the cyote then how did shelby remedy the problem with the GT350?

they are just in denial... they been using power adders for engines from a lamborghini v10 they are just going to be more expensive..

A compressor is a compressor. Whether it is the brand and model used in a lamborghini is irrelevant. Vortec, Procharger, etc are all perfectly fine.

Simply put, you add boost and fuel, and tune it properly. However you arrive at the boost isn't an issue. It's the strength of the internal components of a certain engine. I guarantee 5 psi is easily doable, reliably and without risk on the 5.0 and will produce well over 500hp, probably around 550hp.

Top fuel dragsters have 18:1 compression and run 30 lbs of boost in like a 9L V8. Of course, they re-uild those motors constantly.

Compression ratio isn't even the biggest factor. Again, it's the strength of the internal components. You can boost a lambo V10 easily because the engines components are high-strength forged.

i dont know a whole lot about power adders but if all theyre doing is takin the same 5.0 as in the GT, and slapping a supercharger on it, and only running 5 psi, wouldnt it be more cost effective and safe to take the same engine and do a bunch of bolt ons like CAI, headers, etc. rather than using a super charger to get the same amount of power?
