I am thinking about getting some hood to fender stripes like on the new SRT's. I have made a mockup of my car with the stripes in Photoshop. I just wanted to get some feedback about what everyone thought and possibly some pictures of the actual stripes if anyone has done this.

Personally I LOVE the look of those. They are also on the GS Corvette. Could you do a photoshop of mine? LOL. But I say go for it.

I think that the GS Corvette has the stripes closer to the wheel well which are something different. This are just a rip off of the Dodge stripes. I have never seen a mustang with them before.

I see now. Before, I just paid attention to the presence of the stripes, but not the location of them. I see these are offset further back. Have you played with moving them in various locations along the fender, or are you dead set on leaving it there?

Why did you bought a Mustang if you wanted it to look like a Challenger? I don't get it...

There are some pics at Ford Mustang Decals, Mustang Decals at www.bobwhitedecals.com - Ford Licensed and Official Steeda Autosports Supplier with these stripes on cars. It's the vendor where I got my decals.

I don't think that looks too bad. Hell, it's your car, if you like 'em, go for it! And I don't think it "looks like a Dodge."

Here's an idea nobody brought up...I think it would look good w/ 3 stripes...that way, no one can say that it looks like an RT...plus, you'd be the first to sport the "triple stripes"!!! :bigthumbsup

I don't think it looks bad.. I would never choose them myself; if ever put stripes on my car, which I don't think I will do, they would have to be down the middle.

Why not take it a step further and have them blend into a single black stripe that follows the crease in the body and tapers into a point toward the rear wheel? Kind of like a modified "C" stripe?
