I am new to the forum, I also am new to mustangs and have been looking at getting an 11' v6 manual transmission.

The one I am thinking about getting is a 2011 v6 manual, premium with 40k miles. it is in perfect condition driven by the guys wife.

I have heard ALOT of people talk about transmission problems with the 11 v6 manuals. I am wondering if this one is safe because there are no known issues and it has 40k miles.

PLease let me know what you guys think!

Well if it has 40k miles on it, it should be fine. The transmission problems occur usually within the first few thousand miles. It should be fine. Test drive it.

You didn't ask anywhere near to 2011 questions...

How much is this Mustang?

Most of the warranty is used up, if the price is very high you'd be better off getting a new one.

And very few have had any real transmission problems, probably not even 1%.

a lot of it is prob driver error with the so called trans problems... ask me xD I ps ltng... If I am a hair slower on the shift no grinds...
