Same here. Using a dry cloth made very light scrathing.

I tried PlastX by hand with some success to a certain degree.

I first tried it out on my samsung monitor stand because it was pretty bad. I was amazed at the results.

I would like to try again with a small rotary buffing ball because it's such a small area to buff by hand.

This can be a troublesome fix depending on how bad the scratches are. If they're light and if it's glossy smooth hard plastic, first thing I'd try is simply some instant detailer. That should help hide them.

If that doesn't work, try a plastic polish, but use a blue or green painter's tape and mask off the surrounding areas. Be gentle.

Polish and cover with 3m clear bra material.

I had them and used some meguiars plastic polish. Then I had some scrap 3M clear bra material that I bought a couple years ago to cover various electronic device displays around the house. I removed the radio bezel trim and covered the plastic to avoid more scratches. Took about 30 minutes.

To remove the bezel around the radio you need to first remove the shift knob and console trim piece around it. Then remove the two screws at the bottom of the radio trim piece.

If you have a dealer around your area you could see if they have 3m clear bra material. The stuff comes in really handy. I've covered iPods, lcd's on remotes, all kinds of stuff. You use a light soapy spray under the film to help smooth out the bubbles with a credit card.

I have light scratches on my '11 also. It had something that looked like grease on the display when I purchased it. After I got it home I used a towel to wipe it off and now it's scratched. Had I noticed it at the dealer I would've asked them to clean it, the rest of the car was spotless. I do have some scratch-x but haven't tried it yet.

I fixed mine the old fashion way. I removed the entire radio display from the car, and went after it with a porter cable buffer, orange pad, detail spray and some meguires scratchx. I started with just a drop of the scratchx on the edge of the pad and the buffer at a speed of 1. I held the radio by hand and went after it. I would keep the pad lubed with detail spray, and keep working it. I then went to speed 2, and then three after a bit more. I made sure NOT to touch the display at all after buffing it. It came out 99% perfect. There are still maybe 1 or 2 scratches that remain, but can not be seen unless at the correct angle. Im sure I could keep buffing and maybe get them all out, but I stopped while I was ahead. I decided to order some of that ghost armor clear plastic and cover the display with that. That will give it a scratch proof surface and will cover those other scratches that are almost not there. It was a bit of a process, but you should have seen it before. It looked like it was rubbed with sand paper. Its literally 99% better than before. I would love to have it at 100%, but the ghost armor will do that. Now I just got to find some locally.

This is exactly what the state of mine is. I used Meguirs interior detail spray and a microfiber cloth and it is as if I went at it with 120grit sand paper.

Useless to try and remove scratches when the darn thing will only scratch again.

Replaced mine with tinted glass. The glass guy cut it to match the original and then smoothed the edges all for 12 bucks.

Total job with a drive to glass man 1.5 hrs. And it looks great
