Has anyone put a StopTech big brake kit on their 2011+ V6 Performance Pack without getting bigger wheels and tires? I have been considering it lately but im not quite sure. Just looking for some opinions.

if you have the 19" wheels they should fit. but the question is why? if you already have PP brakes the larger brakes wont make you stop any faster unless you are tracking. Your tires and pads will ultimatly determin stopping distance. with a few other factors making a slight difference (clamping force, steel lines, etc). the larger rotors will dissapate heat faster so you can brake hard more often without having heat soak issues, such as track and autocross racing. what are your plans?
I agree with everything said above. Big brakes are more for track endurance, not stopping distance. Plus, the PP has already been proven to stop shorter than a Brembo GT. But if you want to go bigger, you can fit at least 4 piston brakes with 14 inch rotors, since that is what is on the brembo car and they have the same size wheels as the PP.
I did for appearance sake, the GT rotors fill up the wheels slightly better. Was surprised however, the pedal feels stiffer, and therefore nicer. But in a panic stop, I have no doubt they are the same as the regular v6 rotor.
thanks for the input. Im getting into autocross a fair amount and have a connection with centric (stop techs parent company) so thats why Im considering it. still not exactly sure if im going to do it or not especially after reading that article...
