So I was just under my car today performing an oil change and I noticed that on the long straight driver's side exhaust tube that proceeds from the H pipe to the axle backs has a dent on the top and bottom about 16in long.
The passenger side is perfectly cylindrical while the drivers side has an oval shape. Is this normal or the same on any of your cars? I just find it weird to only be on one side.
This is definitely factory as there are no visible scrapes on the pipe or on the rest of the undercarriage
It's by design. Best guess is it is to help eliminate droning. I know we've discussed this a short while after the 2011s were released, but I don't remember if anyone else had any other explanations.
