2012 Mustang Dome Light Rattle

I am just wondering if anyone else has a problem with their dome light area rattling. Mine rattled anytime I had music up or going over bumpy road before. But, now with the roush exhaust it rattles all the time. I was just wondering if other people have had this problem and what you did to fix it.

Mine doesn't rattle from the light it rattles from the horizontal plastic piece between the gauges

Mine may not be the actual light but its what holds the lights. I was just wondering if there was a fix for it. Because it gets really annoying while going down the highway. I can put my hand on it and make it stop. But that is not really a fix.

Take it in to warranty. Mine does not do this at all

Mine, does too. Extremely annoying, it happens more in the early morning though.

I put a small piece of duct tape, half on the chrome trim and half on the dash on one of my gauges. It stopped. Then one of my vents started to vibrate. I need a real solution too. Maybe a little super glue between the chrome and vent/gauge? I don't intend to keep duct tape on my car. lol

I'm not too fond of the 200mph tape or the residue it leaves behind. I haven't heard mine rattle in awhile maybe you should smack yours, mine likes when I talk dirty too, just sayin it might help

Lol. I'll have to try that.
Well I guess the good news is my gauges don't rattle. Bad news nobody seems to have my problem.

Well, they would look at my exhaust and say that's the problem. And I probably wouldn't disagree.

Don't worry. Your gauges and vents will rattle soon enough. As will my dome light. lol

I have the dome light rattle as well in my 2013 mustang V6. I put a strip of thick felt between the back of the dome light and the headliner. I am going to test it on the interstate tomorrow.
