Hi folks got a 2012 mustang gt with vortech v3 w JLT cold air kit beefcake torque booster with 14 psi pulley and tial BOV converted to bypass valve boss 302 manifold id1000 inj devil's own/snow perf water methanol injection kooks long tubes kooks offroad x pipe flowmaster exhaust DW400 fuel pump JMS powermax V2 boost a pump UPR dual valve catch can with CSS 3C circle D 3600 stall converter DSS 1 pc alum driveshaft.

So my problem is when replacing the fuel pump the quick connect fitting for the fuel transfer hose that goes between the fuel pump housing on the drivers side to the fuel sending unit on the passengers side had the little green clip in the fitting break off and now it will occasionally "run out of gas" problem is I cannot seem to find that hose for order... Considering making my own since its a simple a to b connection but does anyone know what size fitting that is or where I could source that hose/clip? Such a silly thing to not be able to replace... also anyone know what it's actually called lol?

Thanks!

I don’t know the ford-proper nomenclature for that retaining-clip. Have you checked with a Ford parts specialist. I find a trip to my local Ford dealership Parts counter very helpful for things like this.

Anyway, it’s been 3 months since your original post. I imagine you’ve fixed this by now, and moved on. If you’re still around, how about dropping in and letting us know what your final solution turned out to be.
