Roush is selling the entire front brake setup Pads, calipers, rotors and brackets from 2012 Gt's for 150 with free shipping. They are on amazon ebay or call Roush directly. Sweet deal guys! Installed mine about a month ago.. Not a huge upgrade but well worth the money. I noticed a difference

Nice source. Thanks. How hard is it to put 11, 12 suspension / brake parts on a 05, 09? I mean, are they compatible and what improvements can be expected.

I am thinking that the front springs ment to support a GT with its Coyote 5.0 may compensate for the additional weight of my e-force. And the front brake discs being a little larger may improve my braking performance a bit. While I was at it, may as well refresh the shocks and struts. Price is right anyway.

Yeah, thanks for posting Platinum. I remember seeing something about this a couple weeks ago but I didn't do anything about it, thanks for the reminder.

I wonder if they would clear my bullitt wheels? My 2010 callipers clear by about 1/8 inch.

Cusp, I think it is a pretty easy swap; pretty sure everything is basically the same so it's just unbolt the old ones and bolt on the new ones. Of couse when you change calipers you can get air in the lines so you have to bleed them; or do they have a valve to prevent that now?

I think you'd be better off with GT500 take off struts and shocks, and something like Steeda Sport springs instead of 2012 take off springs. The spring rate of the Sports is higher and should more than compensate for the weight of the e-force.

From what others have said, the 2011 calipers are pretty much identical to the 2005-2010 calipers. You just need the rotors and brackets to do the brake swap with your stock calipers. You wouldn't have to bleed your brakes then.

The calipers are exact.. I put the new ones on bc they had maybe 5 miles on and were much cleaner. Plus i had them powder coated. You can not just swap the rotors... Bc they are larger you also need the bracket that goes with the 2012. So if you pieced it together you would have 80 or more in rotors then the brackets from ford... They are dealer only. They are 120 for the pair. Already over the Roush price. So u save by buying from Roush and you will have a spare set of calipers plus the 2012 pads are much better. I forgot the brand but i looked them up and they are not cheap.

I think FRPP is probably either the same or an upgrade versus GT500?

I was just commenging that you don't have to use the roush calipers if you don't want to. If you are trying to avoid having to bleed your brakes, you can use your stock calipers from 05-2010.

Yes, even with the extra set of calipers, the roush take-offs are a better deal. Go for them if you have the wheel clearance.

Parts came in last night.
So shiny and new. I don't know whether to install them on the car or mount them on the wall.
Ha... Did u get the 2012's? You should put a coat of paint on them. Doesn't have to be flashy just a black or something to keep them looking clean

Yea- the 2012s. I'll inspect my calipers on the car and it they're good I'll just use the bracket and hang onto the new calipers ones for later.
