Hi! I have a 2012 v6 mustang base. The Advancetrac light its on again. It was in the tech warranty two weeks ago for the same thing. They first told me that the problem was with the tires because they are not the same size.( I got 18"9.5 rear & 18"8.5 front). The car had the tires for over a year. Then the tech told me that they need to reprogram the computer and with that everything was getting fixed. The only upgrades the car have is the wheels and the eibach pro springs. Does anyone know how can I fix the problem without taking the car to the Ford Tech warranty?

I also paint the brake calipers, I dont know if that afect something too. I mentioned just in case.

Did you ever try to push start the car? Lol i did and got service advance track but then it was good after

You need to find a Ford tech that knows what he is doing. The problem with advanced technology is that few old school mechanics understand how to troubleshoot. And not enough really sharp kids are learning how to be auto mechanics. Not surprising. The average garage is a greasy, gloomy looking barn, with no A/C and inadequate heat.

By a SCT tuner from AM BAMA tunes for life free. You can program you tire size and all will be fixed.

hahahah i wouldn't put it past a ford dealership to say that your brake calipers have been modified and your warrenty is now voided:heha:

Any idea to turn off the light witouth go to the warranty?

I got the light too with my mpt tunes, its because i forget to mention that i didnt want the traction control off all the time ! so the light appears , i just press the reset button near the steering wheel and it goes away
