Quick acceleration test in my 2013 Mustang GT with a Steeda CAI, Bama 92 octane hybrid tune, and Pypes Pype Bomb axle back exhaust as the only performance mods. Not too bad, even shifting slow from 4th-5th and 5th-6th lol. Definitely recommend this mod combo for people looking add a little more pep to their 5.0!

After watching this video, it pains me that there is no factory option of gears for the automatic. I'd still be in 4th.

The car still pulls pretty good in 6th. In the vid I shift to 6th at about 140 (i have 3.73s) and I shifted pretty slow, but when it gets in gear, the pull from 140-150 is not too bad.

First of all, if you did this on the street that's incredibly dangerous. Not to mention you would be locked up immediately if you got clocked. Car most likely impounded. Aside from how stupid it is to do 150mph on a public road, I wouldn't trust my stock drive shaft to do it.

I'd love to find out the top end of my car. There just aren't any roads around here that it could be done. My car's done 135+ and was climbing quite well. Just no room..... I'll bet it's capable of 150+.

They used to start out by sending you a check for $10,000 once you got up past a certain number of views.

Not sure what the policy currently is, though.

So did you eliminate the top speed limiter or is there none for the 2013's? For my 2008 I know there was a 135 mph limiter.

There is a limiter around 150. FRPP tune does not remove it SCT does (bama..)

Ive ran 5th out 2 times, fun. Car still fealt stable/safe at 170 the one time I checked to see if 6th would pull(it does, but your going to be eating up some serious space/distance if you want to find the TOP). The Speed is what kills, I did it, but I will likely never do it again, it's just not worth it, and honestly, ripping out a perfect 2-3 shift is much more rewarding than going 110+ in these cars, and likely less of punishment if you did get caught, and a much lesser risk of killing yourself, a loved one, or an innocent individual trapped at the wrong place & wrong time. Be safe.

I've done 160 before with just my Steeda 93 tune and Airraid cai and car was still pulling. I have recently added an Off road X and re tuned by Shaun at AED :worship and im pretty sure 170+ would not be a problem. I just would not attempt that on a public interstate it would have to be on some closed course or something like that and i would add a one piece drive shaft first

Ive hit 150 twice in the stang.The times I did it were on huge empty straightaways and both times were filmed
I did it 2 times to test the gains from my FRPP tune before and after.
Ive also done 180ish on a Hayabusa about 10 years ago:nono:
