2013 HID Projectors in a 2011?

So im curious, I know almost everyone wants the tailights from the 2013. But I just took my car to the dealership and saw a 2013. I wanted to upgrade my headlights to HID's but the more I think of it the more I want to get projectors. I was going to get the raxioms but not sure about them with HID's. So im wondering if you could put the HID's from a 2013 and put them on a 2011. I dont see why not... other then the crazy price tag for them.

Pretty much what you said. It can be done, but at a large cost. Just not worth it. You're better off retrofitting if you want a true HID projector headlights

Wouldnt that require me to take off my stock headlights and sending them to someone to do? I need to use my car 5 days out of the week for work and I doubt someone can do them in 2 days before my next work day. Theres no way I can do that on my own too.
Mine is also a DD so I bought a pair of headlights off a buddy of mine who got the raxiom ones and retrofitted those. There was a pair in the classifieds for just $75 but they just sold
Anybody have any good sites or companies to send them to to get fitted?
I found these guys. I only heard one good thing about them tho. Recommended Retrofitters - The Retrofit Source Inc
I have 2011 HIDs but I would like the LEDs of the 2013. how much $$$ are we talking for the conversion?

Thtretrofitsource.com is a great company that's where I bought my projectors and they have good sources for people that can retrofit for you I just tried mine on my own because I had a extra pair of headlights

Hehe, that was me :D. Just ordered the Morimoto Mini H1 from TRS today. Gonna be doing the work myself next weekend.
I bought a f150 and became a part of f150forums and found that a ton of guys on that site swear by TRS (above posted retrofit supplier.) This thread has a ton of retrofits done by regular Joe's. I plan on doing a retrofit sooner or later and the TRS site has A TON of options.

I read somewhere that they plug up almost exactly the same as the 11-12's.. I would hope they hook right up. Hopefully I can get my hands on some soon as I also don't really like any of the aftermarket setups available. Getting it retrofitted is just unfathomable unless you're technically inclined to do it yourself or can spare the time without headlights. (Obviously impossible for us Daily drivers.)

Since I'm in Los Angeles, I'll be checking the junk yards frequently to hope some road warrior has totaled her/his pony so I can "depart" it.
Damn, those look sick! Do you have halo's in them? Kinda looks like they do.

This is what im thinking of doing. I just love how the led's look, and if you tint them slightly theyll look even better. For now I guess Ill just put in some stronger halogen bulbs in since im deleting my fogs soon. Ill be keeping an eye out to see if they are just bolt on and off.
