I just got the eta on my auto and I have a crap ton of stop and go traffic as well. Don't let the "haters" get to you! :nogrinnerSo I've had a 2013 v6 auto(yes I know, but I have tons of stop and go traffic and a manual would drive me crazy for that)
After having driven my manual for several months now, I can tell you that if I wasn't retired and still facing my daily commute I would have also bought an automatic :bigthumbsup.I just got the eta on my auto and I have a crap ton of stop and go traffic as well. [and no, I'm not knocking on manual drivers either]
it's actually coming from the rear. Everything i found online with people having similar issues points either to cheap drive train, universal joint or the actual manual transmission. It's just that everything i've seen has been from people with the manual, not the automatic. I'm going to take it in next week to have it checked out, just like to have an idea what's going on before i have to go deal with the dealership :shigrinIs the noise coming from the front of the car as it's well known the front lower control arms are faulty on a lot of these cars? V6's have a different drive shaft so I can't comment on them but the GT drive shaft does makes some noise at low speeds.
