2014 GT Headlights

Hi, I am new on here but I've owned Mustangs ever since I was able to drive. I love my new 2014 five-oh. Except I'm not sure if the HID headlights are supposed to have the bluish look that the LED fog lights have. I pass a 2014 everyday to and from work and her GT has all four of the lights with the LED look. My question is, are the HID headlamps supposed to look whiter than the LED fog lights? To me, it just looks weird and I like the way the LEDs look.

Thanks!

Welcome to the site!!
I don't think the HID headlights on your Mustang will have the bluish color that Xenon headlights will have. I know my Mustangs headlights are a nice bright white, and I don't use the fog lights unless there is actually fog, which is just about never where I live.

I owned a Lexus IS300 a few years ago and it had the Xenon lights, which did have a blue tint to them, they were also pretty great headlights, but so are the HID's on our cars. The HID lights on the Mustang are just an improvement over halogen bulbs.

lol you do realize hid's and xenons are one in the same right? the bluish color is result of a higher kelvin rating, Ford uses some where around 4200k - 4300k

The fogs are close to the same color output as the headlights but not exactly, I guess since the fogs aren't HID. And the headlights do project a slight bluish hue, always lights up reflective white signs slightly blue when my car's headlights hit them.
